Theft of copper pot and suspicious van in Foston

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the theft of an old copper boiler that was being used as a plant pot, and a suspicious vehicle seen nearby.

The copper pot was stolen from a property in Main Street, Foston at around 11am on Wednesday, April 27.

The owner took down details of a white transit van with a registration starting BD02.

Police are asking the public to report any further sightings of this van by calling 101.

Community safety officer at Lincolnshire Police’s HQ added: “Please remember to report all occurrences of theft – even if it is only a plant pot - as this gives us an insight of what crime is happening in the area.”
