Thefts from Barrowby home, Ancaster stone masons, Syston shop and Long Bennington farm

Police have been alerted to various thefts committed in the area over the past few days.

A property on Reedings Road in Barrowby was broken into and an iPad and jewellery stolen, sometime over the weekend of January 31 and February 2 (incident number 158 of February 2).

Between the hours of 5pm on February 2 and 7am on February 3, 800-900 litres of red diesel were stolen from a site tanker at Goldholme Stone on Sleaford Road, Ancaster (incident number 79 of February 3).

Syston Park’s farm shop was broken into and both food items and a petty cash tin were stolen some time overnight between February 2 and February 3 (incident number 86 of February 3).

It was also discovered today at Middle Farm on Valley Lane, Long Bennington that oil has been taken from a heating tank (incident number 245 of February 3).
