Thieves have made off with a collection of valuable compressor tools and equipment from workshops - and made sure they wouldn’t be caught by stealing the CCTV cameras too.

Police say the tools have been stolen from secure workshops in an isolated yard in Aslackby, mear Sleaford, some time between 8pm on Saturday and 6am Sunday.

PCSO Sandra Brommell of Sandra Brommell Bourne and Billingborough neighbourhood policing team says items stolen include chop saws, nail guns, drills and a large quantity of screws and nails.

The clued-up burglars also stole the workshop’s CCTV recording equipment.

If you saw any suspicious vehicles or have any other relevant information that can assist police with tracing the thieves, call 101 quoting incident 63 of May 14.
