If you’ve not yet made your nomination for a Grantham Journal Business Award, don’t delay – less than two weeks remain until the
In the weeks since we launched the 2019 awards, we’ve received dozens of nominations and entries, proving once again how fabulous the business community in the Grantham area is.
With the closing date of Wednesday, August 7, at 5pm, fast approaching, time is running out to put forward deserving businesses and the people that have made them a success.
It’s not only nominations that count – businesses and businesspeople can put themselves forward for an award.
Journal editor Marie Bond said: “You would be mad not to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to showcase your business.
“Not only is it good for business, it’s also a wonderful way to recognise the hard work of your employees, your apprentices.
“Putting them forward for an award is the pat on the back they deserve.”
The 20th Grantham Journal Business Awards will be held for the third year in St Wulfram’s Church, on Friday, November 1.
We have 12 categories, plus the Judges’ Prestige Award, a special award which is decided upon by the judges and is not for entry.
Finalists will be invited to the glittering dinner and presentation evening in the church, where they will be met by a Champagne reception and the opportunity to network with sponsors and businesspeople, as they take in the magnificent surroundings inside St Wulfram’s.
They will go on to enjoy a three-course meal with wine on the tables, followed by coffee/tea. After dinner the awards will begin. An aftershow party brings the evening to a close.
There are some fantastic sponsorship opportunities still available, that bring with them a host of fabulous benefits.
For more information, call events and sponsorship co-ordinator Sharron Marriott on 07393 754539 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Tickets are not yet on sale to the big event. Early bird tickets, at £65 plus VAT, will go on sale early September – more details nearer the time.
How to enter/nominate:
Each nominee/entrant will later be asked to complete an extensive application form, which will be scrutinised by our panel of expert judges in order to draw up their shortlist.
Three shortlisted finalists in each category will go forward.
They will be interviewed by judges from our expert panel and will later be filmed – videos will be shown during the awards presentation on the big night.
