Tombola to raise cash for Grantham Journal Children’s Fund’s Summer Sizzler Appeal

An amazing haul of goodies will be up for grabs at a tombola being held to raise money for the Journal’s Summer Sizzler Appeal.

Massive thanks go to Micky Stokes, Kaz Smith and Nic Smith, trustees of the Grantham Disabled Children Society, who are kindly holding the tombola in the Isaac Newton Shopping Centre on Friday, May 15.

They have been shown overwhelming kindness by local businesses who have donated some fabulous goodies.

Not only that, they will be selling raffle tickets for even more prizes, which include:

* five bottles of wine

* Lego sets

* toys

* Jack Wills sets

* perfume set

* nail polish set

* Susan Birds voucher

* Living Health voucher

* Bottle of wine at the Royal Queen

* All-day breakfast at Market Cafe

* Grantham Bowl tickets

* Haircut and finish at Indulge

* Sparkle M Nails luxury manicure

* Family pass to a parrot zoo

A big thank-you also goes to Morrisons for allowing the charity tombola to take place in the shopping centre.

Money raised will go to the Summer Sizzler Appeal, which aims to send disabled children and their families to Legoland Windsor in the summer holidays.

To be able to send three coaches of deserving families to the theme park for an all expenses paid day out, we must raise £17,700. If you would like to support the campaign, being run under the Grantham Journal Children’s Fund, a registered charity that financially supports families with a disabled child, then please get in touch with us.
