Driver airlifted to hospital after serious crash at Aslackby

A driver was airlifted to hospital yesterday following a serious collision on the A15 at Aslackby.

The collision happened at 4.40pm on the A15 Bourne Road. The two cars involved were a grey Peugeot 308 and a blue Ford Ka.

One of the drivers was taken by air ambulance to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. The other driver was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.

The road was closed while police investigated the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle driving on the A15 near to Aslackby to contact the Collision Witness Appeal Hotline on 01522 558855 or the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident 296 of March 9, 2016.
