Drivers throughout Lincolnshire are to benefit from an investment of more than £6 million in the county’s roads.

The money has been made available by the Department for Transport to Lincolnshire County Council to be used over the next two years.

Councillor for Highways and Transportation William Webb said: “We’ll ensure that this money is put to good use and will do all we can to keep the county’s roads in the best possible condition with the cash that’s available.”

The additional £6.45 million in funding will be used for road surfacing, repairing damage caused by severe weather and other improvements.
