The headmaster of King’s School in Grantham has thanked the emergency services after two pupils were injured in a road incident at about 8.45am today.
The two boys were walking to school when the incident happened in Watergate.
King’s headmaster Frank Hedley said: “At approximately 8:40am on Tuesday two boys from The King’s School were in collision with a vehicle on Watergate in Grantham. Staff from the School were on the scene immediately and the police and paramedics arrived shortly afterwards. Both boys suffered cuts and bruises and one boy sustained a broken ankle.
“The School would like to thank the emergency services for their assistance and also the driver of the car and the witness who stopped for their calm and helpful assistance.”
