TV's Bargain Hunt stars are coming to Easton Walled Gardens near Grantham

Charles Hanson and Kate Bliss - regulars on TV’s Bargain Hunt - are heading to the Grantham area to aid a charity cause.

They will be at Easton Walled Gardens on Thursday, October 3 from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm to take part in a special event to raise money for garden charity Perennial.

Charles will be joined by jewellery, watches and silver expert Kate and antiquarian books and works on paper specialist Jim Spencer – a man who recently unearthed a Harry Potter first edition which went on to sell for £28,500.

As well as dusting off your antiques, collectables, jewellery and watches to enjoy a free valuation with the experts, Charles will be giving a talk and taking part in a question and answer session.

Tickets are priced £35 and that includes admission to the gardens, refreshments, valuation of one small item (no furniture), the talk and Q&A session.

Charles, owner of Hansons Auctioneers, said: “I can’t wait to visit Lincolnshire. I’m hoping we can unearth some fascinating finds and, perhaps, uncover some auction stars.

“Delve into your drawers, clear out the attic, look under the bed and check out the garage too. Sometimes it’s the most unexpected objects that have been lying in a forgotten corner for years that turn out to be of great value. It’s all for a good cause so do come and join the fun.”

Charles Hanson and his team will be at Easton Walled Gardens on October 3. To find out more, email info@eastonwalledgardens.co.uk. To book tickets, visit the Easton Walled Gardens website: www.visiteaston.co.uk
