Two arrested on suspicion of driving offences after Grantham crash

A man and a woman have been arrested following a two vehicle road traffic collison in Grantham on Wednesday, October 21.

The incident was reported to police at 7.30pm after having occurred on Barrowby Gate. A Vauxhall Astra van and a Peugeot 208 were involved. Nobody was seriously injured as a result.

A 23-year-old local man and a 28-year-old Northamptonshire woman, who were occupants of the van, were both arrested on suspicion of failure to stop and of driving or being in charge of driving whilst unfit through drink. Both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
