UPDATE: A52 closed while lorry removed after crash

The A52 remains closed in both directions at Sedgebrook following a collision between a lorry and two other vehicles including an Isuzu pick-up.

The accident was reported at 7.50am today and happened near Sewstern Road. The driver of the pick-up was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with a facial injury. The DAF lorry, belonging to a Suffolk firm, is being recovered.

Lincolnshire Fire Service says two crews attended the scene and used hydraulic equipment to release one driver.
