Update: Arrests following fatal crash at Staunton in the Vale, near Long Bennington

Two men have been arrested following the death of a cyclist in Staunton in the Vale on Monday afternoon.

The cyclist killed has today been named as William ‘Bill’ Neill, 66, of Farndon in Nottinghamshire.

A Vauxhall Corsa and a cyclist collided in Grange Lane at around 4.30pm. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men, both aged 27, were arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. They have been bailed pending further enquiries.
