Police are investigating after a series of burglaries in the east side of Grantham.

These have taken place on Spire View, Kenwick Drive and Belton Lane. In light of this police are warning homeowners to be vigilant.

Grantham Town East PCSO, Jackie Fulker, said: “Lock your property well at all times. If you leave the house unattended, especially if you are going on holiday, try and leave a light to come on a switch timer. Also don’t leave any valuables on show.

“If you see anything suspicious or have any information please call 101 or contact your neighbourhood policing team.”

The burglary at a garage on Kenwick Drive, Grantham, is believed to have taken place between midnight and 1am on Saturday, August 15. Nothing is thought to have been stolen (incident 119 of 15/08/15).

Another incident was reported at a property on Spire View, Grantham. An offender is thought to have entered the address around 3.50pm on Sunday, August 16 and stole a purse from within (incident 357 of 16/08/15).
