Centrebus services are running again following this morning’s crash on Spittlegate Level in Grantham.

The main route into Grantham was closed in both directions due to a collision between a motorcycle and a van.

The crash happened at the junction with Tollemache Road South outside the Tollemache bus depot.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the collision which happened at 5.30am.

The rider of the bike has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. The van driver suffered minor injuries.

Centrebus have tweeted: “All Grantham services have now been reinstated.” But a few minutes later it tweeted: “Grantham service 28 will be unable to serve Tollemache Rd/Spittlegate Level and will operate directly via the A1.”
