Update: Grantham driver killed in Croxton Kerrial crash named

The driver of a car who died as a result of a collision in Croxton Kerrial on Wednesday, has been named by police.

The collision happened at around 8.45pm on October 14 on the A607 Melton Road near to the junction with Green Lane. It involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Peugeot 5008.

The driver of the Corsa, Valentin Buica, 45, of Grantham, Lincolnshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Peugeot was treated at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham for minor injuries.

The Corsa was travelling towards Grantham at the time of the collision and the Peugeot was travelling in the opposite direction.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle beforehand to call Dc 1288 Paul Bingham on 101.
