UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed and dangerous driving arrest after collision on A52




A motorcyclist has been killed in an accident at Bottesford this morning, and a man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The collision was reported at 8.35am and involved a car and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

The A52 has now reopened in both directions between Grantham and Bingham, having been closed for most of the day in order for collision investigation work to be carried out.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and is currently in police custody.
