A 12-year-old Melton schoolboy died in a crash in Langar yesterday afternoon (Monday, May 4) EMN-150505-100302001

A boy who died in a crash in Langar yesterday (Monday, May 4) has been named as 12-year-old Luke Aitken.

Luke died when a Ford Transit Tipper van he was a passenger in crashed at Langar Industrial Estate at around 3.10pm.

Anyone with any information about the incident should telephone Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 491 of May 4.

l A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit remains in custody.
