Updated: Crews tackle fire at listed Bottesford property

Grantham firefighters tackled a blaze at a property in Bottesford last night.

They fought the blaze with colleagues from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue at the property in Station Road. Crews were called out just before 10pm and used three hose reels and one main jet were used to put the fire out.

Thre are no reports of anybody being hurt.

Stef Douglas, manager of the Harborough district for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, tweeted a picture and said: “Listed building in Bottesford saved. Good work Leics, Lincs & Notts.”
