Grantham veteran musician to talk about his life and times in rock 'n' roll

Grantham veteran rocker Vince Eager will give a talk and slide presentation in Great Ponton in aid ofMacmillan Cancer Support.

Vince will talk about his time as a pioneering British pop and recording artist in the 1950s and ‘60s. He appeared on TV every Saturday night and toured with the top British and American pop stars. His presentation is called ‘You’re never too old to rock ‘n’ roll’.

Vince offered to do the presentation after Great Ponton woman Sibyl Meadows and others from Grantham went to his recent show at the Skegness Embassy Theatre in support of Lincolnshire flood victims, which raised £2,800. He asked Sybil to nominate a charity to benefit from his talk at Great Ponton.
