Charity golfers taking part in the Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven’s annual golf competition have the chance to win a new car. Grantham Honda has put up a Honda Jazz for anyone who can his a hole-in-one on the fourth hole at Belton Park.
The event will be held on June 13 to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Tony Griffin of Grantham Kesteven Rotary Club said: “A friend of mine was the president of another Rotary club. He was the person I used to play golf with and he introduced me to Rotary.
“Unfortunately he has died from pancreatic cancer so that’s the reason we are raising money this year.”
Next year the club will use their golf competition to raise money for South Lincolnshire Blind Society. More than 30 golfers will take part in this year’s event. If you would like to sponsor a hole or help in any way, contact Mike Charity on 01476 563896.
