A large blaze has broken out at an HGV business in Grantham.

Photos are coming in of the fire which has broken out at Fruehauf on Houghton Road, and is sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed that five crews are in attendance and dealing with the blaze. They are advising residents to keep doors and windows closed in the area.

Police are also at the scene. No roads have been closed as a result.

Nearby residents report hearing an explosion, while the smoke has been seen from Ancaster.

The blaze is thought to include oil or chemical barrels. A member of staff told the Journal that the fire is in a storage area, and no evacuation of the site was required.
