Video: Grantham councillor captures incredible footage of flock of birds

Wonderful shapes were formed in the skies above Grantham on Saturday afternoon, formed by a large flock of birds.

County and district councillor Charmaine Morgan captured the birds’ synchronised mid-air display from the car park in Greenwoods Row, behind B&M Bargains.

She said: “It was amazing to watch. It was really fortunate. I nearly stopped recording but suddenly remembered that a couple of days ago I’d been in the Morrisons centre and on my way back to my car heard a noise coming from a bush and guessed where they may be planning to land so kept filming.”
