Tinsel, baubles and Santa hats adorned motorcycles taking part in this year’s toy run.
Hundreds joined the annual toy run from the Red Lion pub in Bottesford to The Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham, where presents destined for disadvantaged chidlren were dropped off. They will go on to be delivered to the youngsters by members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In St Peter’s Hill, shoppers and visitors to the Christmas on the Green event flocked to the roadside to wave at the parade of bikers, supported this year by Lincolnshire Police. Officers stopped traffic at the junctions to allow the long line of motorcyclists to reach The Meres safely and together.
