VIDEO: Large crowd welcomes the Belvoir Hunt to Grantham on Boxing Day




Hundreds of people were in St Peter’s Hill to welcome the Belvoir Hunt on its annual Boxing Day visit to Grantham.

Riders of all ages rode into the town centre and gathered outside the Guildhall with their hounds where they were greeted by the Mayor of Grantham Coun Jacky Smith and the Chairman of the District Council Coun Ray Wootten.

Visitors were able to stroke the horses and the hounds as well as enjoy a mince pie. Members of the hunt spoke to visitors before heading out of town along St Peter’s Hill.
