Lincolnshire’s new Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Hardwick is to make tackling anti-social behaviour a “top priority”.
Mr Hardwick, speaking in a Lincolnshire Police video released this week, also expressed his desire to introduce a ban on all street drinking.
Mr Hardwick said: “Antisocial behaviour is the top priority in the county. I have my own priorities for that and I personally would like to see a complete ban on street drinking.”
He added that a ban on street drinking “is something I know would receive huge support from the people of Lincolnshire. Drinking is at the root of many causes of antisocial behaviour”.
