More than £7,000 was raised at this year’s Moonlight Sleepwalk, the sixth annual fund-raiser put on by Grantham Hospice.
Held on Saturday night, 134 walkers of all ages set off on the 10km route from The Meres Leisure Centre at 10.30pm. They were sporting as assortment of clothing, from pyjamas to flashing bunny ears. The first walker back through the door was Jane Blake, followed by Tina Schafer and Bernadette Morris. The hospice’s community events fund-raiser Janie McCormick said: “Congratulations and huge thanks go to all of our walkers and their supporters who have helped to make this years Moonlight Sleepwalk another great success. Well done!”
