Vigil campaigner says he is angry because he was taken by ambulance to Lincoln after he fell ill outside Grantham Hospital
A hospital campaigner says he is angry and upset after being taken to Lincoln when he fell ill outside Grantham Hospital.
Stephen Doll suffered a fit at last Wednesday evening’s vigil by hospital campaigners. An ambulance took him to Lincoln even though he was only yards from Grantham Hospital.
Mr Doll, 55, says he was taken to Lincoln where he had to wait in the back of the ambulance for over an hour before being admitted. He says he saw a triage nurse and was “pushed into a corner” with four more people. He says he sat there until 4am and paid £50 for a taxi home.
