Village near Grantham is 'paying for planning errors'

Parish councillors are disappointed that a housing development application has been given the go-ahead and say their village “is paying for
planning errors”.

The chairman of Barrowby Parish Council, Councillor Phil Cupit, said the council is “extremely disappointed” following a decision on Wednesday to approve the reserved matters for 49 homes off Low Road in Barrowby.

Reserved matters refers to the layout and design of the homes, which had already been given outline approval.
