Sudbrook villagers fear their homes and lives will be blighted if quarry plan goes ahead

The residents of a small village near Grantham fear for their health and their future if proposals to reopen a quarry go ahead.

Irish company Tamar Selby Group Ltd has applied to Lincolnshire County Council to update the planning conditions for the old quarry off Rookery Lane in Sudbrook. Permission was first given to quarry the site in the 1950s.

But residents are up in arms and many say they had no idea about the quarry or any permissions when they moved to the village.
