Police are warning the public to be vigilant after a spate of incidents in Grantham.

Following a burglary this morning on North Parade, Grantham Town East PCSO Jackie Fulker said: “Please be vigilant and make sure you lock your premises.

“If you are going out and it’s dark, leave a light on. Lock your doors even if you are in your property or in the garden doing work outside.”

PCSO Fulker added that garden tools have also been taken from a shed on Turner Crescent. “Make sure your sheds have good locks on and maybe think of having security lights put in the back of your property,” she said.

“Bike crime is still very high at the moment so please don’t leave bikes on show or unlocked outside.

“If you see anything suspicious please call 101 or your local neighbourhood policing team.”
