Police news.
Police news.

Police are warning bike owners to be vigilant following a series of thefts and attempted thefts.

Around the Houghton Road and Edward Street areas there has been a burglary, an attempted burglary, a shed break in and a bike theft in recent days.

Due to a large amount of bikes having been stolen in Grantham, police are reminding owners to make sure they are locking their bikes away and securing premises properly at night, and suggest leaving a light on.

If you see anything that you think may be suspicious, ring 101 or your local neighbourhood policing team.
