Warning after spate of purse and cycle thefts in Grantham

Police news.
Police news.

Grantham police officers are warning residents to bear in mind handbag and bike security after a recent spate of thefts in the area.

A number of reports of stolen purses in the area have come into police, and investigating officers would like to remind people to keep their bags with them, purses fastened inside, and to report any strange incidents.

They are also encouraging cyclists to make sure they know their frame number and details of their bikes, and also to put their postcode somewhere on the frame so it can easily be identified.
