‘Water board’ fraudsters in Carlton Scroop and door mat sellers in Ancaster

Descriptions of people and vehicles involved in suspicious circumstances have been released by police.

Four males pretending to be from the water board entered a property on Newark Lane, Carlton Scroop on August 27. A vehicle that was seen leaving the area with the males inside had the number plate YK58 OMA (incident number 414 of 26/08/15).

In a separate incident, two women described as having Irish accents were selling door mats on West View, Ancaster on August 27. Their vehicle’s number plate was YP63 LYX (incident number 236 of 27/08/15).
