Grantham store in bridal boost for local businesses

Grantham clothing store Empire Menswear has launched a website to encourage people to buy their wedding needs locally.

Store manager Vinod ‘Chad’ Chadda (pictured with web designer and sales assistant Callum Taylor) says the site www.weddingsuppliers
grantham.co.uk allows businesses to promote their products and services for the weddings market.

The website already features Forever Yours Bridalwear, Nan’s Nice Cakes, Kays of Grantham, the Flower Barn Florist, and of course, Empire, though it seeks more.

Vinod explained: “The general idea is to bring all the local wedding suppliers all under one roof and make it easy for people to find such businesses to help keep trade in town.

“People were coming in and buying suits from us but getting other things from out of town which they couldn’t find locally. But there are local businesses in town who can supply such things. It’s a great shame they aren’t
getting this business.”
