Miss Helen Turner, daughter of Barry and Janet Turner, of Kenilworth Road, Grantham, and Mr David Bond, son of Arthur and Marian Bond, of Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales, were married at St Geroge’s Church, Rhos-on-Sea.
The service was conducted by the Rt Rev Dr David Jacks.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory, strapless, organza and tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline and full-length train, embellished with crystal and pearl detail. She carried hand-tied purple lisianthus and cream roses.
Bridesmaids were Sarah Searle and the bride’s sisters Sally Turner and Carole Johnson. Flower girl was Amber Searle. They wore Cadbury purple, halter-neck dresses with a sweetheart neckline and diamante embellishment, and carried posies of flowers similar to the bride’s.
Page boy was Ashton Bond, bridegroom’s son, wearing a tailcoat suit with matching waistcoat and purple ruche.
Best man was Arthur Bond, bridegroom’s father.
Ushers were Martin Turner, bride’s brother, and Richard Bond, bridegroom’s brother.
A reception was held at St George’s Hotel, Llandudno, and a honeymoon followed in York.
Helen is a housewife and her interests include scouting, cross-stitch and reading.
David’s hobby is model railways.
