Miss Maxine Halsey, daughter of Jenny Halsey of Swinstead, and the late Springer Halsey, and Mr Will Skellett, son of Michael and Mary Skellett, of Ketton, Rutland, were married at St Andrew’s Church, Irnham.
The service was conducted by Fr David Pickett.
The bride arrived at church by horse and carriage, a gift from her late father.
Given away by her brother, Mark Halsey, the bride wore a pleated satin, strapless dress with pearl and diamante detail. She carried roses, freesias and lisianthus.
Bridesmaids were Sam Skellett, Chloe and Holly Joyce, bridegroom’s nieces and Anna Ashton. Holly wore an ivory flower girl dress with a royal blue sash and the others wore royal blue, full-length, satin dresses. They carried blue and cream roses.
Page boys were Charley, Zac and Tom Halsey, bride’s nephews, wearing dark grey tail suits with silver waistcoats and royal blue cravats.
Best man was Robert Spall. Ushers were John Skellet, bridegroom’s brother, Kane Chapman, bride’s nephew, and Shaun Hall.
A reception was held at Greetham Valley Golf Club.
A honeymoon was spent in Paphos, Cyprus.
The couple will live in Colsterworth.
Maxine is employed as a grain forwarder and she enjoys playing darts. Will is a steeplejack who also enjoys playing darts and fishing.
