MISS Rachel Sentance, daughter of Margaret and Malcolm Sentance, of Grantham, and Mr Barry Jamieson, grandson of Frank and Jessie Haddow, of Cooper Angus, Perthshire, were married at The Brunsfield Hotel, Edinburgh.
The service was conducted by the Rev John Blackwood.
Given away by her brother-in-law, Alan Shepherd, the bride wore a floor-length, ivory dress with gold threading at the waist. She also wore a bracelet belonging to the bridegroom’s grandmother, which she had worn at her wedding. She carried purple and white roses.
Bridesmaids were Claire Sentance, bride’s sister, Katie Shepherd, bride’s niece, Lhora Campbell and Sam Turnbull, wearing purple, knee-length dresses with a silver sash. They carried flowers similar to the bride’s.
Best man was Robert Spivey. The reception was held at The Brunsfield Hotel. A honeymoon was spent in Portugal. The couple will live in Edinburgh.
Rachel and Barry are both administrators, Rachel enjoys handicrafts and reading and Barry enjoys computing.
