Window smashed in Grantham burglary to steal bike

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a burglary at a property in Grantham yesterday.

Sometime between 5pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 2, an offender or offenders smashed a rear window at a property on Barrowby Gate to gain entry.

From an integral garage inside, a high-value pushbike was stolen. The make and model is a ‘Shimano Planet X Pro carbon Ultegra 6800’ in black.

Have you been offered the bike for sale, or did you see or hear anything suspicious in the area?

Anyone with any information is asked to call the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 413 of 02/12/2015. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
