Witness appeal after fatal crash on A153 near Wilsford

Police have urged witnesses to a fatal road accident near Wilsford to come forward.

A man in his 60s from the Sleaford area died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, which happened between the Wilsford and South Rauceby junction of the A153 Sleaford Road at about 4.40pm yesterday (Friday).

The man was driving a dark coloured Vauxhall Astra, which collided with a white BMW 5 Series. Nobody else was seriously injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to it is asked to contact the Lincolnshire Police Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855 quoting incident 318 of July 17.
