Witness appeal as police investigate alleged assault in Grantham

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault in Grantham.

The incident occurred some time between 3.30am and 7am on Sunday morning, in the Alexandra Road area.

The victim is a 19-year-old female, who was wearing distinctive striped shorts and had no coat.

DS Tim Wilkinson is appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the victim in the Harlaxton Road or Alexandra Road areas from 2.30am.

Anyone with information should contact DS Wilkinson by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 81 of January 18. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
