Woman charged following assault in Grantham

A woman has been charged following an assault in Grantham on Friday which saw another woman suffer lacerations to her back, chest and face.

Pamela Stephenson-Dodd, 46, of Chestnut Grove, Grantham, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent, in connection with the assault in a property in Alexandra Road, just before 11.30am.

The victim was taken to Grantham Hospital for treatment to her injuries, which were described by police as not life-threatening.

Stephenson-Dodd was remanded in custody to appear before Lincoln District Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).
