Holiday park Woodland Waters is looking to expand by building a further six lodges.

The park, in Ancaster, has submitted to the district council an application to build the lodges in the south-west corner, on land which is currently woodland.

The applicant states: “The buildings have been designed to be in keeping with all the previously approved dwellings, holiday lodges and bar-restaurant. They will be clad in horisontal log-effect timber and have a concrete pantile roof. The internal accommodation consists of two bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen/lounge area.”

As well as camping, Woodland Waters has fishing lakes and is a venue for events such as weddings.
