Year 11 King's School pupil dies suddenly

By Grantham Reporter

A Year 11 pupil at the King's School in Grantham has died.

Head Master Simon Pickett says staff and students at the school were sad to learn of the sudden death of William D’Bouk, aged 16.

Mr Pickett said: "Our understanding is that William died in hospital following a cardiac arrest. William was a bright, kind and much valued member of the King’s community.

"To die aged 16 is an enormous tragedy, particularly when that young life is filled with such potential.

"As a mark of respect the school flag is flying at half-mast. All at King’s mourn his loss. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs D’Bouk and family at this incredibly sad time."
