Yellow warning issued as snow forecast overnight for Grantham and Lincolnshire

Weather forecasters say people living in Lincolnshire and the wider region should prepare for settling snow overnight.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as it predicts several centimetres of snow could fall overnight in the Midlands leading to treacherous driving conditions.

Forecasters have also warned there could be an amber warning, indicating social and healthcare services should target ‘high risk’ groups such as the very young or old.

Snow is already falling this evening in Wales and the West Midlands and is moving eastwards. The weather warning applies until 6pm tomorrow.
