How would you like to take in the stunning views from the top of St Wulfram’s...and then abseil down it?
Totemic has organised the fund-raising abseil to raise money for Grantham Foodbank, the Army Benevolent Fund and the church.
At 143ft high, it is not for the faint-hearted.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 27, 9am to 4pm, co-ordinated by Totem Giving, Totemic’s charitable project.
Organiser Leila Mekki said: “Challenge yourself this month. Take the ropes to conquer fears and help raise money for some fantastic local charities, featuring a 143ft abseil down the side of an iconic local building, as well as music and food.
“Come and join Totem Giving and take part in this unique and thrilling experience.”
Participants must pay £40 to take part – tickets are available at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/charity-abseil-tickets-24344428842
Tickets secure places, with the intention that participants fund-raise to claim the money back. The event is open to all, and will include an army qualified rock climbing leader, Peter Dunlop, as well as music and food stalls.
