THIEVES are targeting cars which have been left unlocked in Grantham, say police.
The warning comes after a sat nav was taken from the glove compartment of a car parked in St Helen’s Close, Grantham.
The car was left unlocked by the owners while it was being unloaded.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are warning car owners that it only takes seconds to get in and steal property.
“Cars should be locked even if they are being left unattended for a brief period of time.”
