Vital service saved my life

Have your say

I read the story in last week’s Journal about Harriet Fuller.

I too was in the same situation as her. I nearly died and if it wasn’t for the doctors and nurses in A&E and Grantham Hospital I would have died. They saved my life.

They tried to get me to Lincoln County Hospital but they said they couldn’t risk it as I would have died on the way.

I was admitted to the Critical Care Unit and later moved to Ward 2. I was in hospital for nearly five weeks with a pulmonary embolism.
