HERE we go again, yet another battle to save our local hospital’s vital services. It is shocking news that the hospital Trust management appear to be so inept that they are again putting our hospital services at risk.
I recall back in 2002 when a group of us, led by former Journal editor-in-chief, Nick Woodhead, delivered nearly 27,000 letters to the Houses of Parliament. We expressed our anger on that occasion, we have done it again since and I have no doubt that we will do it again this time.
The campaign to save our hospital services is a campaign we must not lose.
