ANGLING: Grantham AA juniors matches set to start

The first Grantham Angling Association junior section match of the season will take place next Saturday (May 9).

The matches are for 10 to 16-year-olds at Queen Elizabeth Park from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, with the draw for pegs at 1pm.

There will be 11 matches throughout the season on Saturdays – three in May, June and July, followed by two in September after a break for the school holidays.

Head of the GAA junior section Alf Taylor said that any youngsters who might be interested would be welcome to pop along and try out match fishing.
