ATHLETICS: Grantham AC 10 represent Lincs in cross country

Ten Grantham AC athletes competed for Lincolnshire at the Inter Counties Cross Country at Birmingham on Saturday.

In the under 13 boys race, the Rodell brothers Rory and Ewan finished 154th and 233rd respectively, with Harry Denton in 248th. Sophia Tucker finished 238th in the senior women.

Under 15 boys trio Aaron Hunt, William Tucker and George Hatton finished 133rd, 182nd and 277th respectively, whilst Saskia Hunt was 263rd in the under 17 women.

In the under 13 girls, Helen Braybrook finished 61st, with Issy Hobday 210th in the under 15 girls.

l Five Grantham AC members competed at parkruns over the weekend.

Results: Gedling – 40 Richard Hall 27.14, 71 Dona Hall 32.35; Belton House – 66 John Ellerby 27.14, 128 Rachel Justice 33.50, 170 Janice Anderson 48.47 (tailrunner).
